The team has given their hearts and used their hands here in Haiti! Days have been spent at Little Sowers school in the heart of Port Au Prince, here at Hope Village Cleaning, organizing, enjoying quality time with 17 teenagers (as best as you can with teens) and at 70 Palms leveling ground for a BB court, painting decks and tiling floors. We’ve even had time for a most interesting tour of the Sugar Cane Historical Park, enjoyed some wonderful Haitian beverages and been treated to a Haitian feast cooked by our own Hope Village kids! More to come!!!

Mission: Haiti 2015- The Sorting Begins!
The sorting has begun for the OSLC Roy, Utah team! As the Haiti Mission trip gets closer they are busy completing all the last minute details. On Sunday May 31 there will be an “angel tree” needs list for specific items that are still needed. There will be sticky notes for each item on the list. If by some odd chance you are in the Roy, Utah area stop by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, grab a sticky note and return the items to the church as soon as possible. They will be doing a packing day on Tuesday evening, June 2nd. If you can’t get by the church but want to help with the items call before noon any business day and they will help you out.
